Who we help

Independent Clients

We accept direct enquiries from individuals who are seeking to make changes to their emotional and psychological wellbeing.

Our Clinical Psychologists and accredited therapists will work with individuals in a confidential, one to one basis to help them to understand their experiences, identify any factors that may be contributing to their difficulties and to develop the skills to help assist them in the future.

Parents - Local Authority Referrals

We receive referrals for therapy from Local Authorities for individuals involved in Family court proceedings, for whom therapy has been recommended.

We have Clinical Psychologists with expertise in working with individuals who are involved in complex, safeguarding proceedings.  Clients will be helped to identify how their own experiences are impacting on their current functioning (and parenting). They will work collaboratively with the client to help them to develop more adaptive coping strategies and ways of relating to others.

Personal Injury/Medical Negligence - Insurance Referrals

We receive referrals for therapy from Insurance Companies for individuals who have been psychologically impacted by traumatic experiences. These include road traffic accidents, accidents at work, assaults and professional negligence.

We have therapists who have expertise in working collaboratively with clients to reduce symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder anxiety and phobias.  The initial phase of therapy will focus on developing strategies to manage symptoms (such as sleep problems, flashbacks and nightmares).  Once the client has a greater sense of the control and is ready the focus will be on making sense of what has happened so that the client has a sense of their traumatic experience being in the past.
